The Air Canada Maple Leaf Lounge at Vancouver Airport’s Domestic Terminal welcomes Air Canada and Star Alliance Business Class passengers, Air Canada elite and Star Alliance Gold customers, as well as Maple Leaf Lounge members.
Located near gate C29, the club is only accessible by domestic passengers. Air Canada operates separate international and transborder (US departures) lounges.

The Air Canada Maple Leaf Lounge at Vancouver Airport Domestic Terminal draws little attention from outside. The discrete entrance is easy to miss—perhaps the designers didn’t want to take away from the appeal of the dramatic floor-to-ceiling stone “cliff” that adorns the concourse.

The domestic Air Canada Maple Leaf Lounge at Vancouver Airport is located a stone’s throw from the airline’s swanky international club, but design-wise, it is generations behind. The domestic club still sports its original attire with wooden partitions, indoor plants, dim lighting, and an old-fashioned blend of beige and dark tones. The only pop of color comes from Air Canada’s signature red chairs.
While the décor is grim, the space boasts floor-to-ceiling windows along three walls, offering guests tarmac views from virtually every angle.

The club is comprised of four side-by-side seating areas, and furnished primarily with traditional lounge seats, all outfitted with marble side consoles. As expected from an older lounge, power outlets are few and far between, though they can be found along the windows. The seating arrangement isn’t especially private, but it is reasonably sparse.
Near the staircase leading to the lobby is a living room-like space with plush leather seats around a flat-panel TV, and convivial round tables. The adjacent dining area features a buffet, dining tables, as well as counter-style seating overlooking the tarmac.

In the morning, the well-stocked breakfast buffet includes oatmeal, fresh fruit, cereal, pastries, scrambled eggs, sausage, and potatoes. Throughout the day, patrons will find a selection of snacks, salads, sandwiches, soups rotating hot entrees, and sweets. The focus is primarily on hearty comfort food, but the salad bar should cater to health-conscious travelers.
Alcoholic beverages are all self-serve. Air Canada offers four draft beers on tap including Guinness, Coors Light, and Canadian Ale, as well as an assortment of wines and liquor. Per Canadian law, alcohol is off-limits until 11am. In terms of soft drinks, guests will find a soda fountain, a Vivreau filtered tap water dispenser, and several espresso machines.

Near the staircase is a small business center with eight individual work cubicles, and a wireless printer/copier. There is also a desk with four computers in the living room area near the TV. It’s seldom used nowadays, but conveniently doubles as additional work space.
Other amenities include a selection of newspapers and magazines, as well as a charging station with individual device lockers and a variety of cables. The club lacks showers, despite the fact that Vancouver is a premium market with Signature business class transcontinental service to Toronto. (Priority Pass members may use the Plaza Premium Lounge near gate B15 should they want to freshen up.)

The domestic Air Canada Maple Leaf Lounge at Vancouver Airport won’t win any design awards and is due a renovation. But save for the lack of power outlets, it is a functional and well-appointed space with plenty of daylight, and tarmac views.
In terms of amenities, guests will find Wi-Fi, a business center, an enjoyable food selection, and a self-service bar.

Access to Maple Leaf Lounges, Air Canada Cafés, and Signature Suites is limited to three hours prior to scheduled departure time. This policy does not apply during flight connections or flight delays.
Additional guests may accompany qualifying passengers for $20 CAD per person before 11 a.m. and for $30 CAD per person after 11 a.m.

Overall ratings
Been here on numerous occasions, never had to wait either. Food is decent, regularly have meat balls, other time chicken in nice sauce with rice. They also always have wraps (both meat and veggie), à small salad bar and another hot meal option (ex. Spring rolls…). Cookies, plain chips, non-alcoholic drinks and a decent selection of proper drinks (scotch, gin, wine, draft beer, etc)
Staff is quick to clean tables. So no complaints at all, always enjoyed my visits. Cheers
Refused entry for 8 minutes as we were “too early”- was a decidedly petty start
Worst business lounge I’ve ever been in- canteen slop for breakfast, and not even any bread for toast. Limited cold options.
