Tried to access with Priority Pass 3 hours before my flight to the UK. I was told I can only be allowed in 2 hours before departure. Boarding is 1 hour before departure, therefore they want you to pay for 1 hour. There is no other option at this Terminal so come prepared and avoid this lounge at any cost
Weak food options compared with other Alaska lounges, no drinks from bar before noon – ridiculous at this price. Staff members mostly absent, not so helpful when present. Avoid.
The worthses lounge i ever bean even brand of alcohol not where they buying probably from China. Stay away
No entry with Priority Pass! unfriendly receptionist telling stories and excuses. stupid Alaska Lounge
I am a priority pass member and tried unsuccessfully 4 times in a 2 hour period to enter the Alaska lounge. Was told by an obnoxious power hungry manager that the lounge was for Alaska air customers and not a priority pass lounge – that they only allow a few priority pass members to enter if They have room – and there was/is no room. Watched many other people come in and out. We told the manager we wanted to wait for an opening. She told us if we stayed, we would be removed by TSA. Was told to come back and each time denied entry. My friend and I ended up purchasing food in airport. Shame on priority pass! Shame on Alaska air especially for allowing this woman to be the face of Alaska Air.
Same situation with us flying back to uk.Priority Pass members turned away with a printed sign before the check in desk suggesting this is a regular or perhaps permanent policy?!
Priority Pass don’t care as we were turned away from the lounge at Gatwick South terminal on way out too. Will be cancelling membership when we get back.
So I have a Alaska Lounge member for almost a year and was really excited about their new JFK lounge. Wow, was extremely disappointed. Their breakfast options are more limited. No bananas or cereal. They have one toaster that van toast a Max of two bagels at a time. For comparison, their Max room occupancy is 110. With six people in the lounge at 5:10am, there was a long line and I got to the lounge when it was supposed to open at 5am. They were late, this has never happened in Seattle or Portland. Their new coffee stand is a joke. No whip cream and they cannot make anything special like a chi lattee. The granola and yogurt are under this glass auning thing that is hard to maneuver around. I am from Seattle and hope the do not move to make the other west coast lounges like the JFK one. I might have to take my loyalty somewhere else.
I got to jfk 2 hours before my flight to check out the new Alaska Lounge and was told that they were not accepting Priority Pass as their system was down. Bring a MVP member meant nothing to them. Was told they were only allowing First Class Full Fare customers in. Terrible service.
