Overview

The Piazza Della Scala lounge at Milan Linate airport opened early 2022 as the new incarnation of the former Casa Alitalia.

ITA Airways business class passengers and SkyTeam Elite Plus customers will find a welcoming space and a light selection of food and beverages.

Note: due to capacity issues, the Piazza Della Scala lounge does not accept guests flying with Star Alliance partners.

Access rules

The following passengers have access:

ITA Airways Business and Superior Class passengers departing on a same-day flight.
ITA Airways Volare Premium and Executive members departing on a flight operated by ITA Airways or a SkyTeam member (+1 guest or immediate family)
International First and Business Class passengers departing on or connecting to/from a same-day international flight operated by a SkyTeam member (no guests)
SkyTeam Elite Plus members departing on or connecting to/from a same-day international flight operated by a SkyTeam member, in any class of service (+1 guest)

Notes:

Guests must be traveling on any flight operated by a SkyTeam member airline. Member must remain with the guests at all times during the visit.
Lounge access will be provided only at your departure airport and not on arrival, unless you are connecting to a domestic flight or other qualifying international flight.

AVOID this company! I will surely never ever fly Alitalia again! They will even sell your ticket to a cheap airlines company, which you find out at the airport, and then pretend they don’t care of any status you have! No seats, no luggage, not even water on the Alitalia paid flight! No access to lounge with Alitalia ticket and Platinum Card with SkyTeam! Rudely denied entrance of the lounge reception! Should get excluded from SkyTeam immediately, for not matching any of the SkyTeam services!

Je voudrais vous remercier pour l excellent accueil que nous avons eu lors de notre passage dans la lounge Casa Alitalia. En particulier de ce charmant Monsieur qui a été tout dévoué à notre confort et qui nous à accompagner jusqu à la porte d embarquement.

It is a comfortable lounge, if not exciting.

Sandwiches and various cold snacks.

Free wifi, business corner, newspapers.
