The ANA Lounge at Tokyo Narita airport Terminal 1 Satellite 5 welcomes Star Alliance premium and Gold passengers departing on ANA and partner flights.
Despite its prime location with a view of the tarmac, the club closes early at 6:30 PM. Later in the evening, passengers may visit the ANA Lounge in Satellite 4, which features the same amenities but lacks windows.
First Class and ANA Diamond Service guests are invited to use the more exclusive Suite Lounge on the upper level.
ANA Lounge NRT design
The sprawling ANA Lounge at Tokyo Narita airport Terminal 1 Satellite 5 occupies two adjacent rooms. Immediately behind the lobby is a main area with floor-to-ceiling windows and expansive tarmac views, while beyond is a large dimmer room with ample additional seating in a more subdued ambiance.
The airline’s signature alliance of black and white stone, leather furniture, and accent lighting is sober to a fault, yet timeless and soothing. The open layout does not sacrifice privacy: low partitions carve out intimate seating areas, limiting the line of sight and fostering a sense of intimacy even at peak times.
All seats come with a generously-sized side table with a built-in power outlet, and coat hangers and lamps dot the space.
Laptop users will also find convenient communal tables, as well as high-top seating overlooking the windows in the rear of the club.
ANA Lounge NRT amenities
The ANA Lounge at Tokyo Narita airport by gates 51-54 offers a complete range of amenities for international travel.
The buffet features a modest selection of snacks, mini-sandwiches, vegetable sushi, soups, and salads. In addition a noodle bar prepares a variety of cooked-to-order dishes such as udon, soba, fried noodles, and curries. Meals are ready in just a few minutes and presented on an elegant traditional wooden tray.
The self-serve drink selection includes an assortment of fresh fruit juices, soda, and a few wines. A popular highlight is the automated beer machine, which tilts glasses for the perfect pour. There is also a rotating sake and shochu selection in elegant porcelain dispensers.
Business amenities include complimentary Wi-Fi, a printer, and several oddly-designed open phone booths, which do an underwhelming job at blocking the sound of conversations.
On the relaxation front, guests will find a number of semi-private spaces outfitted with recliners and massage chairs. More proper sleeping facilities can be found in the ANA Lounge in Satellite 4, located 10 minutes away through the underground connector between Satellites 4 and 5.
The ANA Lounge boasts several pristine shower suites with a large shower, a toilet with a washlet, a sink, and ample space to change. Temperature and water pressure are excellent, and amenities include towels, a washcloth, a toothbrush, a razor, a comb, and Shisheido products in individual packets. There may be a wait at peak times, so inquire early at the shower reception in order to be added to the wait list.
Other amenities include a smoking room, a currency exchange machine, a duty free shop, and a selection of newspapers and magazines. At peak times, a Concierge is available to assist guests with a variety of inquiries and services.
ANA Lounge NRT bottom line
The ANA Lounge at Tokyo Narita Terminal 1 Satellite 5 is a high-end lounge with an inviting range of amenities including cooked-to-order food, shower suites, and comfortable semi-private spaces. Short of being trendy, the space is functional, well maintained, serene, and the staff always willing to assist.

Overall ratings
Very large yet usually busy lounge. There are a lot of seats, but the whole design feels a little bit cramped. There is a good food selection, and the special feature here is the ramen bars where noodles are prepared upon order (online order from your seat also possible). Nothing beats a nice ramen bowl before boarding!
Large lounge, many sections with seating areas so you can find your preferred seat. Modern design, despite no daylight good relaxing feeling. Good noise level.
Good food choice and good quality. They offer Ramen soup in Variations, Sushi, Sandwiches etc. also good beverage choice.
WIFI is very weak. But rest is good, sanitary facilities are good.
