The Bolero Executive Lounge at Warsaw’s Chopin Airport is one of the three independent lounges operated by the airport, and the only lounge in the non-Schengen area. It serves various airlines, welcomes members of programs such as Priority Pass, and also functions as a pay-in lounge open to all travelers.
Etiuda Executive Lounge WAW design
The facility is located on the ground floor, one level below the main concourse. The subterranean entrance is rather unimpressive, but an unexpected haven lies beyond the doors. The large rectangular room is sparsely furnished with elegant leather couches. The long window wall lets plenty of natural light in, highlighting the earth tones and hardwood floor. Two living walls with water features provide a touch of color and freshness. Low partitions offer a fair amount of privacy. The space is quiet, the elegance understated, the design simple but timeless – a step above what we’d expect from a contract lounge. Perhaps the only unfortunate part is the lack of tarmac views.
Etiuda Executive Lounge WAW amenities
The buffet area offers deli-style items such as cold cuts, cheese, and an assortment of breads, plus pastries, fruit and various snacks. A wide range of soft drinks is available. Alcoholic beverages include a few wines as well as the typical staples including Johnny Walker Red Label and Bacardi. While we wouldn’t show up early for a meal, we do find the overall spread rather generous for a contract lounge.
Three private work cubicles with self-service computers are located by the reception desk. Other amenities include complimentary Wi-Fi and local and foreign newspapers and magazines.
Etiuda Executive Lounge WAW bottom line
Overall, the Bolero Executive Lounge at Warsaw’s Chopin Airport is an excellent facility for a contract lounge. LOT business class passengers and elites may prefer the LOT Polonez lounge, located in the Schengen zone, for its showers and expanded food selection, but the Bolero Executive Lounge is a very pleasant place to wait for a flight, and the location next to the non-Schengen departure gates can’t be beat.
- The elegant design and furniture.
- The privacy offered by the sparse seating and dividers.
- The private work cubicles.
- The lack of tarmac views.

Overall ratings
the food in this place is abominable and I’m shocked Emirates is associated with it. endless steamed hash browns (rightly untouched), luke warm soup and a sausage fest beyond adjectives. it is pleasant, secluded and good drink selection available but the food is a disaster.
The lounge is nice but was rather warm there. very busy place. the food was good with local specialities self service bar. they didn’t have USB plugs to borrow. there are no showers no printers no pc.
The place is rather compact.
Good selection of appetizers and beverages. Nothing exceptional but ok.
Reliable and fast internet. Local and international newspapers.
A lovely lounge overall – modern, elegant, bright, with comfortable furniture. No real views due to the ground floor location, but a nice space all around.
