Access rules
Capital One Lounge at Washington, DC - Dulles (IAD) welcomes:
- Capital One Venture X cardholders (+2 free guests, additional guests $45 each)
- Capital One Venture and Spark Miles cardholders: 2 annual complimentary visits, additional visits $45 (guests $45 each)
- All passengers, regardless of airline and class of service, for $90.
- Select premium customers and elite members departing on an airline served by this lounge (see Airlines tab).
Children under 2 receive complimentary access.

The #2 lounge at IAD after Polaris in my view. Very nice and new, good food, both small plates and a grab-and-go counter, the only one at Dulles. Good bar. Not too big, though, so might get crowded, though was not before the 10pm bank of international flights.
Although a bit difficult to find, I loved this lounge. The staff were delightful! Grab and go options were great for both non vegetarian and vegetarian. Had a great hot/cold food selection, a cute coffee bar area and in a separate area were plenty of regular drinks. Nice clean bathrooms with minimal wait times.
Lounge is hard to find, very little signage in the airport. Lounge is new, moderate size with comfortable seating. Limited food options available for breakfast, with everything already on individual plates/bowls. Coffee counter is staffed, making a variety of coffee/tea – but only one person making coffee lead to a long line (no self-serve coffee). Nice bar with seating available but we didn’t try it. Overall comfortable lounge but not as nice as Capital One lounge at DFW
