Opened in January 2024, the Chase Sapphire Lounge by The Club with Etihad Airways at New York JFK airport is the first co-branded Chase Sapphire and Etihad Lounge worldwide, and the second Chase Sapphire Lounge in the New York area. The club was unveiled on the heels of the opening of the Chase Sapphire Lounge by The Club LaGuardia.
The lounge operates both as a Chase Sapphire Lounge, welcoming Chase Sapphire Reserve cardholders who have activated their Priority Pass membership, and as an Etihad lounge, with complimentary access for the Abu Dhabi flag carrier’s elite and premium passengers. Priority Pass members who are not Chase Sapphire Reserve customers may visit a Chase Sapphire Lounge once a year.
The Chase Sapphire Lounge by The Club with Etihad Airways at JFK airport occupies the footprint of the former Etihad Airways First and Business Class lounge, which closed at the onset of the COVID pandemic and remained vacant for three years. The space has been remodeled and features the Chase Sapphire elegant residential decor.
Bathed in daylight, the lounge boasts a dramatic window wall and expansive tarmac views.
The Sapphire Lounge features comfortable seating with power outlets and USB ports at arm’s length, cozy nooks to rest or relax, a dining area, and two semi-private workstations. While the space is gorgeous, it is compact. Spreading across a modest 7,600 square feet, the Chase Sapphire Lounge by The Club with Etihad Airways JFK is unlikely to be able to come with demand at peak departure times. (While Priority Pass customers can also visit the Primeclass and Air India lounges as alternatives, those clubs pale to compare with the Chase Sapphire Lounge.)
Patrons will find a generous hot and cold buffet, along with a selection of cooked-to-order dishes. The menu includes a wide range of halal and kosher options, in addition to traditional offerings such as the Sapphire burger. Chase also offers a complimentary full bar, as well as soda, juices, tea, and espresso.
Three shower suites are available. They can be booked through QR codes located throughout the lounge. Other amenities include fast Wi-Fi and two reflection and prayer rooms.

Overall ratings
the cocktail was great, food was so so since my burger was kindly overcook plus fried was super hard, look like the staffs at front desk having a bad mood day
This lounge is on the smaller side, but packs a punch. I like the variety of seating areas and how beautiful the design is. The bar is stunning and the view of the runaway is nice. The buffet food was ok and the burger I ordered and cocktail I got from the bar were phenomenal. Looking forward to visiting again the next time I’m at JFK.
