The design of space in new JAL First Class Lounge features Japanese tradition in a modern way. In order to deliver the maximum hospitality to every customer, after many rounds of discussion with advisors of new products and services, including Mr. Kundo Koyama, JAL has selected live Teppan-yaki Service, Shoeshine Service and the wall painting art created by master of Japanese plasterer to deliver the ultimate relaxation and excitement for the journey in JAL First Class Lounge. JAL provides finest service for each customer with the utmost hospitality.
In addition to buffet in JAL First Class Lounge, JAL challenges the new service to offer “freshly cooked meal” before boarding, at “Teppan Dining”. “Teppan-yaki”-one of the representative dishes in Japan is offered for customers to enjoy brisk live cooking.
JAL First Class Lounge at Tokyo - Haneda (HND) welcomes:
- JAL First Class passengers departing on a same-day Japan Airlines flight (+1 guest)
- JMB Diamond and JGC Premier members departing on a same-day Japan Airlines flight (+1 guest)
- First class passengers departing on a same-day flight operated by a oneworld airline (+1 guest)
- oneworld Emerald members (+1 guest)
Notes:
- Guests must be confirmed on the same flight.
- For connecting passengers, lounge access will be determined on the international long haul ticketed flight (either First of Business Class) regardless of the ticketed class of travel on the international short haul or domestic flight.
- American Airlines who have purchased a membership in their airline’s lounge network do not have access to this lounge unless their ticket or status qualifies.

Japan Airlines (JAL) will serve the original rye galette as a new breakfast menu in its First Class Lounge at Haneda Airport International Terminal, starting June 1, 2015.
JAL Original Rye Galette is cooked in Teppan Dining area using specially made galette topped with egg, ham and cheese.JAL will continually embrace new challenges to provide customers with more innovative products and high-quality services.
