The worst lounge I have been to and I have been to some dire places in the world. The food is terrible, the drinks limited. The internet is forever unavailable. If you are paying for the privilege of using this lounge… DON’T
Very unfriendly reception by an arrogant guy. The selection of drinks and food was extremely poor. The arrogant guy had set up two trays and, with handwriting, pointed out that one should put service in place after use. I sat down by the window where a stand lamp over the table could be adjusted with 2 switches; off, slightly on and fully on. I chose to turn off the light, not needing it; after which I was scolded by the arrogant guy. After that, I chose to leave the “lounge” – half an hour after I arrived. I’ll never go there again!
Nb. There are no toilets.
Typisch deutsch: Hauptsache billig und mit viel kostenlosem Alkohol. Eignet sich nur für diejenigen, die sich gerne betrinken. Außer Alkohol und ein paar Erdnüssen findet man hier kein Essen, welches man ohne Ekelgefühle verspeisen könnte. Das schmuddelige Ambiente und die unfreundliche Bedienung lassen sich ebenfalls nur im alkoholisierten Zustand ertragen. Englisch wird hier leider nicht gesprochen. Da ich keinen Alkohol trinke, ist diese Lounge nichts für mich.
Einen Besuch ist die Lounge aber auf jeden Fall Wert. Es ist schon interessant, dass es im 21. Jahrhundert im Hospitality Business noch Einrichtungen gibt, in denen man noch nie davon gehört hat, dass Kaltgetränke mit Eiswürfeln serviert werden können.
Spent a while in the Hannover lounge waiting for a delayed flight to LHR. Pretty basic. The food choices were terrible.I couldn’t get the wi-fi to work and had to use my phone. The only redeeming feature was there was plenty of beer in the fridge.
