The lounge was expanded and remodeled in 2018-2019 in anticipation for KLM’s 100th anniversary. The new club boasts 1,500 seats over 6,800 square meters
The new design brings more natural light, striking cathedral ceilings, and comforting Earth tones. Tiered layers greatly enhance privacy, with semi-private alcoves throughout.
Amenities include a hot buffet, full bar, barista coffee, shower suites, bag lockers, and a smoking room. A full-service paid restaurant (“Blue Restaurant”), exclusively for lounge guests, is also available.
Technology is at the core of the experience with self-service access, power points at every seat, and personalized customer service using tablets.

Overall ratings
Pro: lots of space and different seating configurations, service is always pretty good
Cons: no large glasses, food is mediocre, they have a mouse problem
Having lived in Amsterdam for 3 years I used this lounge a lot. There’s always somewhere to sit which is great but that’s about where everything else turns bad. The food is always just ok, and on my last visit I met the resident mouse
It’s overwhelming, and easy to get lost. It’s the biggest lounge but not my favorite at AMS.
I really like that they have lockers, I find that super useful. A lot of food options but I think because the lounge is so big and a high traffic area, the food area gets ravaged and it always looks a mess. Just finding the place to get water is a bit of a runaround.
What I don’t like is when AMS assigns me to this lounge during layovers and I have to pass fifty other KLM lounges to get there, and it’s the furthest from my gate.
It’s a pretty lounge, but I find it meh.
Nice flagship lounge, lots of different seating options. Good choice of food. Standard stellar KLM service.
I have been going to this lounge for couple of years. I used to get a shower appointment 2-3 years back. That is no more the case especially with the recent expansion.. You have to wait for at least 3 hours to get any shower spot. Compare this with Air France Paris lounge. Shower is walk in and there is no need of any appointment.
Food at this lounge is also average. Yes, I see the expanded space and also see these spaces full with people. I will give 2 stars to this lounge.
Quite full and the food is not great.
The lounge was very busy on a Monday afternoon, the food selection is sparse and of mediocre quality. This lounge can’t keep up with other airlines and that’s disappointing considering this is KLM’s flagship.
This is the worst airport lounge I have ever encountered. Rude angry front desk staff, atrocious food selection, not worth the long walk. Even the Aspire Lounge connected to Priority Pass is better– and that’s not saying much. I was shocked. Why would first class passengers on KLM put up with this?
Huge lounge with very nice interior and apron view from some areas. Quite crowded next to the entrance but if you walk to the end in either direction it gets much better. All in all there is plenty of seats.
Several self servive bars and buffets throughout the lounge. Breakfast selection was moderate, the choice of beverages was good.
Free WIFI, some newspapers and magazines, business centre with several workstations. Large smoking area. Bathrooms were quite nice.
The KLM/Sky Team Lounge can be found at passenger Lounge 3. If you fly on a Non Schengen short distances flight: Beware, it’s quit a long walk to get to your gate!
This is a large and busy lounge, still it shouldn’t be too difficult to find a seat. The information desks are useful if you need assistance, these are well staffed and friendly.
Choice of food is limited but is usually fresh. Even if the buffet doesn’t offer anything of you liking. Then you can still find things like salted nuts. The coffee facilities are nice and typical dutch cookies are served.
A nice lounge to spent some time while you wait for your next flight.
Comfortable Seating Area.
But Food not really with something to write home about…
Very good
nothing to write home about, only different rolls fresh from the oven is the Best. Cheapest Industry cheese with no taste and cheap cold meat. Its look like so as its taste 😉
Beverage choice ok especially very good \\
TV screen and High Speed WLAN and many KLM Helping Staff stations for booking and so on…
