The intimate club, located on the gallery of SkyCourt building in Terminal 2, welcomes just 56 guests. The design pays homage to the Danube—the fluid lines and backdrop evoke the river that flows through Budapest—while the orange tones are a nod to MasterCard’s brand.
MasterCard has outsourced day-to-day operations to Plaza Premium Group, the world’s #1 independent lounge operator. Under Plaza Premium’s management, the MasterCard Lounge offers a hot and cold buffet, as well as a selection of non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages.
The following passengers have access:
- Hungary-issued World Elite, Platinum, Business Platinum and Gold Mastercard card holders
- Internationally-issued World Elite and Black Mastercard card holders
- Select premium customers and elite members departing on an airline served by this lounge (see airlines served).

THe lounge give free access to any black card Mastercard cardholder, it’s very small there are around 20-22 tables and at the time af my stay was quite packed. There is a small selection of food an average selection of alcohol (including baleys whiskey cream) personal is friendly but the main drawback is that since the place is small there is nonreal space to work with a laptop
