Overview

The Qantas First Class lounge at Los Angeles airport offers a 74-seat restaurant and bar with an open-style kitchen and a Neil Perry Rockpool-designed a-la-carte menu. The design incorporates Californian Knoll furniture selected by Marc Newson, American oak walls, Tuscan Carrara marbled floors, and a 48 foot-long bar.

The Qantas First Class lounge LAX features a complimentary full-service restaurant, as well as a bar and barista service. The Neil Perry Rockpool-designed a-la-carte menu includes Black Angus minute steak, international inspired cuisine, and Qantas’ signature Salt and Pepper Squid.

Other amenities include two private work suites, a VIP room, a selection of newspapers and magazines, and seven shower suites featuring Aurora Spa Aspar products.

Qantas First Class lounge at Los Angeles, CA (LAX) welcomes:

First class passengers departing on a same-day flight operated by a oneworld airline (+1 guest)
Qantas Platinum One frequent flyers departing on a same-day flight operated by Qantas, Jetstar Airlines or another oneworld airline (+1 guest)
Qantas Platinum frequent flyers departing on a same-day flight operated by Qantas, Jetstar Airlines or another oneworld airline (+1 guest)
British Airways Gold Executive Club members departing on a same-day flight operated by British Airways or another oneworld airline (+1 guest)
oneworld Emerald members departing on a same-day flight operated by British Airways or another oneworld airline (+1 guest)

Notes:

Guests must be departing on a flight operated and marketed by a oneworld airline.
American Airlines AAdvantage® members, regardless of their tier status or class of travel, are not eligible for lounge access when travelling solely on North American flights within or between the U.S., Canada, Mexico (except Mexico City), the Bahamas, Bermuda and the Caribbean.
For connecting passengers, lounge access will be determined on the international long haul ticketed flight (either First of Business Class) regardless of the ticketed class of travel on the international short haul or domestic flight.

Excellent lounge with plenty of room, a very nice restaurant and a large selection of drinks. We were there on a Saturday morning and it was almost empty. Our waitress said it’s usually busy in the evenings and you may have to wait a few minutes for restaurant seating. Overall a great experience.

One of the best lounges in the United States. Extremly nice interior and plenty of seats in different areas. No apron view though…

Fancy Restaurant with fantastic menu and great staff to take care of the guests. Very nice choice of beverages including several kinds of champagne. Huge bar and several self service stations throughout the Lounge.

Free WIFI, newspapers and magazines. Private room, Business facilities and very nice restrooms and showers.

Very, very nice lounge with plenty of seating. There were hardly any passengers so it felt even more spacious and luxurious – especially when compared to the oneworld business lounge which was quite crowded. The interiour is very nice and bright, the whole atmosphere is very exclusive despite the size of the place.

There is a restaurant offerign fine a la carte dining and a very well stocked bar which looks as nice as the whole lounge. Wines, water and hot beverages can be have at 2 self service stations, however no food is offered there except some cookies.

Very nice showers and restrooms. WIFI, newspapers and magazines. There are 2 private worksuites.
