The 14,000 square foot Plaza Premium Lounge at Rio airport Terminal 2 is located in the South Pier, a new extension of the airport. Travellers can enjoy an array of fantastic services and facilities, including comfortable seating, a wide selection of food and beverage, shower facilities, complimentary Wi-Fi, workstations, TV channels and international newspapers and magazines. VIP rooms are also available for travellers who need a little more privacy.

A perfect place for both leisure and business travellers to rest and relax before their international flights. Travellers can access the lounge by taking the escalator right after the duty free shops to Level 3.

    Always a nice way to begin a trip. A calm place before flight. There is some Brazilian food and a pasta station at lunch hours. Good espresso. Beverages are ok. About the sweets, foreigners should try ‘brigadeiro’.

    Wonderful lounge,very beautiful. Glad that Plaza Premium opened three lounges in Rio. Spacious shower rooms, quick wifi. A wide range of beverage and liquor. Dessert and salad are fresh. Even first class in-flight catering is no way close to the quality. There is actually an outdoor terrace, abundant sunlight. Much better than Gol lounge. Really a game changer, likely be the next Skytrax winner.

    Great selection of food, snacks and desserts. The bar has a decent selection of beverages and liquor.

    The shower is perfect before long international flights, especially those with connections.
