Screaming children. Didn’t get the drink I asked for. Only beer, and tea/coffee is self serve. The food was OK, it was hot which I was worried about. Didn’t want food poisoning. No air conditioning in this lounge. It was 29c outside and 29c inside. Luckily, I had a battery fan with me. Also, lots of little fruit flies around the food and tables. I think the staff just didn’t want to be there, one or two had bad attitudes. Will try the other lounges next time as I wanted a quiet and worry-free time.

If you don’t mind the heat you will be fine. 29c outside and 29c inside no functioning air conditioning. Drinks service slow and don’t get what you ask for. Not really happy.

Having not travelled for a couple of years – the Lounge “experience” in general has been severely diluted. Here now, there is no selection of food – just a couple of small “meals” you can order once. Although one guy near us must have been clued up as his one order included 1 of everything on the menu!. Lacklustre cleaning and while pleasant enough to deal with, the staff seemed generally lethargic. On the plus side – this lounge has a nice atmosphere, self service cans of soft drinks and very good views. We had to pay £5 on top of our Pass to guarantee access – this also now appears standard at Gatwick. Was it worth it – the £5 extra, just – but not the full £35-40 entry fee as a one off.

No escape from screaming kids whose parents don’t bother to keep them under control. Food by QR code is poor. Mine arrived with plastic packaging inside it. The opposite of relaxing.
