The name “Extime” might ring a bell—the brand was conceived in partnership by TAV Operation Services, a global airport operations powerhouse, and Groupe ADP, the operator of Paris airports. Frequent travelers may have visited the two Extime Lounge locations at Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport Terminal 1 and Terminals 2B-2D; the opening of the Extime Lounge Almaty marks the first time that the brand is exported beyond the French borders.
Spanning 600 square meters (6,500 square feet), the Extime Business Lounge at Almaty Airport Terminal 2 is bathed in daylight sporting an elegant residential decor. There are power outlets at virtually every seat, plush seats, and spacious dining areas.
The Extime Lounge Almaty features a generous hot buffet with a live cooking station serving cooked-to-order meals, as well as a full bar. There’s also shower rooms for guests who wish to freshen up, a spa for those who’d like to pamper ahead of their flight, a business corner, a family room, and a smoking room.
Extime Lounge International Departures at Almaty (ALA) welcomes:
- All passengers, regardless of airline and class of service, for a fee.
- Select premium customers and elite members departing on an airline served by this lounge (see Airlines tab).
