Qatar Airways Platinum and Gold Lounge North

The Qatar Airways Platinum and Gold Lounge North at Doha International Airport welcomes Qatar Airways Privilege Club Gold and Platinum members, as well as oneworld Sapphire and Emerald passengers flying with Qatar Airways or a oneworld partner in Economy class.

The Platinum and Gold Lounge North is located in Concourse D (also known as the North Terminal), steps away from the stunning Orchard, a dramatic indoor garden and shopping mall.

Note that Business Class passengers are invited to visit the more impressive Al Mourjan Lounge. In this regard, Qatar Airways does not follow oneworld rules—elite frequent travelers flying in Economy do not have access to the airline’s Business Class lounges.

Despite this restriction, guests can look forward to an elevated experience at the Platinum and Gold Lounge North.

The club boasts comfortable seating for groups and solo passengers alike, with handy wireless charging points as well as traditional power outlets and USB ports.

At the posh dining area, patrons can help themselves from an expansive hot and cold buffet or order from a complimentary a-la-carte menu. A typical spread features moutabel, tabouleh, hummus, lamb tagine, roasted chicken stuffed with cheese and walnuts, vegetable pulao, vegetable jalfrezi, and a dizzying array of desserts and sweets. The a-la-carte selection includes eggs any style for breakfast, chicken biryani, and pan seared salmon gobi saag masala.

Qatar Airways offers a generous drink menu, including smoothies, mocktails, soda, and a wide selection of wines, cocktails, and liqueurs.

Guests who would like to freshen up will find elegant and spacious shower suites. Incidentally, the shower rooms at the Platinum and Gold Lounge include toilets, unlike the more modest facilities at otherwise the higher-end Al Mourjan Garden lounge.
