Overview
The South African Airways VIA Platinum Lounge at Johannesburg airport’s domestic terminal is SAA’s exclusive facility for Voyager Platinum Card holders.

The VIA Platinum lounge is located next to the VIA lounge, with which it shares a reception area. Completely remodeled in October 2015, the club features an elegant décor, a full breakfast buffet and a selection of hot and cold entrees. A single shower suite is also available.

While it feels exclusive, the Platinum lounge is on the small side. Passengers may visit the much larger VIA lounge for additional seating space, barista service, and additional shower suites.

South African Airways The Lounge Platinum at Johannesburg - O.R. Tambo (JNB) welcomes:

  • SAA Voyager Lifetime Platinum members departing on a same-day SAA or Star Alliance flight (+3 guests)
  • SAA Voyager Platinum and Platinum Elect members departing on a same-day SAA or Star Alliance flight (+2 guests)
  • Discovery Purple card holders departing on any flight
  • Investec Visa Infinite cardholders departing on any flight

Guests must be departing on the same day on a flight operated by a Star Alliance member airline.

    Very good lounges. Should just not allow children under a certain age in. When trying to work having them run around is a distraction.
