Overall ratings
Since I’d just hit Platinum level with my FF, we had the privilege of relaxing in Sri Lanka Airlines first class lounge, but not until we had waited almost an hour for the check-in to open. I don’t want to be unkind, but of the many lounges I have had the luck to visit with all my travels, the “Serenediva Lounge designed to accommodate the most valued top-tier customers” in my book comes in a little lower down on the list than the Coffs Harbour (small rural Australian airport) Qantas FF lounge, although it DID have serve champagne (Piper-Heidsieck) and had a couple of decent (Australian) reds. Less said the better, but “disappointment” would be a good one word summary.
