Note that most SWISS long-haul non-Schengen flights depart from Dock E, where the airline operates three high-end distinct Business, Senator, and First Class lounges. Dock D is typically used for short and medium-haul flights.
Spanning over 650 square meters (~7,000 square feet), the SWISS Non-Schengen Lounge at Zurich Airport Dock D boasts a wall of windows overlooking the tarmac and the Swiss Alps.
The inspired design is the culmination of years of research and experimentation. It blends the best of the modern and streamlined design of the Senator Lounge in Dock A, along with aspects of the more rustic and authentic decor of the SWISS Alpine Lounge. The use of natural wood throughout the space evokes a mountain hut; the window seats and pillows are an invitation to linger, while the sleek dining area exudes modernity and convenience.
Guests have their choice of solo and group seating, individual work spaces, window seats, and dining tables. The designers have carved out a more secluded zone with semi-private and fully-enclosed workspaces.
SWISS offers a wide range of freshly-prepared entrees with an emphasis on healthy fare, along with a broad selection of complimentary and self-serve soft and alcoholic beverages.
The SWISS Lounge in Dock D does not have a bathroom or showers. There is a public bathroom immediately outside the club.

Overall ratings
A very pleasant lounge. Beautifully done in wood. Various rooms with a wide range of seating options. The food is of very good quality, but the selection could be larger. It is usually not as crowded as the other Swiss Lounges.
