Had a sense of Deja View the last time I went here. It used to be the United International 1st class lounge before they opened up the Polaris lounge.

The décor and the layout is exactly the same as when it was the 1st class lounge except for a small walk up bar instead the old self serve bar.

The food and drinks are the same as the regular United Lounges. Would not go out of my way to use visit this club but would defiantly use it if flying through the International terminal and couldn’t access the Polaris club.

The bar tender took my Amex and never brought it back. Filed report with United, but no response. They know how to reach me, premium traveler, but no response or an attempt to track me down. Very disappointed with United and the lounge at G6 for now working harder to take of their best customers.

On opening the SFO Polaris lounge, travelers who were previously entitled to use that space were pushed into this dingy ‘lounge’ in the basement which was most likely a storage space previously. Dimly lit and windowless, it is the worst lounge facility I have experienced in any airport.

We would like to know if you have shower facilities in the temporary Business Class lounge

As pointed out on this page, there are none.

Overcrowded lounge with no peace – people and bags all over the place in both “room”. Took it all in and returned to the terminal. It is a private space, but dated decor and breakfast buffet was in horrible condition and picked over. The only “fresh” options were bananas, cut pineapple, and (the best thing I saw, by far) blackberries. The bowl of yogurt was very unappetizing. I won’t be back – it clear they’ve spent all of their money on the Polaris lounge to the detriment of this UC.
